On December 4, 2016 took place the Figueres’s 1st Half Marathon, La Mitja.
La Mitja is a non-political and non-profit organization called Associació Atlètica Mitja Marató Figueres, and it is composed of professionals from different fields with the same idea of promoting sport in Figueres.
Its purpose is to organize yearly a half marathon in the town, with the support of Figueres Town Hall.
The event intents to be a sport lovers meeting point in both sides of the border.
La Mitja organization invites you to improve your health practicing sport, to explore the Alt Empordà region doing tourism and also to be participant of the Figueres first Media.
