The Daya Foundation is a non-profit organization whose objective is alternative therapies research and promotion aimed to relief human suffering. Daya also collaborates and advices with the creation of public policies that promote people’s physical and spiritual well-being.
Daya in Sanskrit means “compassionate love”, to have empathy, to feel other people’s pain as our own. This is the spirit we want to represent, to feel other people’s urgencies and needs as our own. We believe that human pain is often inevitable, it is part of human existence, however suffering can undoubtedly be relieved.
Foundation activities include mainly these three areas:
- Patient care and counseling.
- Medical cannabis research projects.
